Koh Gen whutttt?
Seriously when I first heard about this brand from my friend I thought she was talking Kung Fu haha! But then she threw a sly smile over her shoulder and said, "Hah! Well you wait 'til you see their packaging". And so when I saw their new counter at Takashimaya, I sort of well you know...died. You know how much I am into reds and black! Moreso this brand is from Japan (my brand's fave country of origin, next is France teehee!).
Koh Gen Do is a Japanese brand that specializes in impeccable base makeup, as well as luxurious spa skincare. Let me share below a little background of Koh Gen Doh:
What do Angelina

have in common?
Answer: Koh Gen Do
Do you want to look like a Film Star? Koh Gen Do is the secret to beautiful skin on all the Hollywood movies. It boasts completely natural looking skin even in high definition, cinema screen size. Whether it’s a dewy, fresh faced skin you are looking for or a sultry, warm and mysterious matt finish, Koh Gen Do has it all. Don’t take it from us…ask the stars:
“I’m completely obsessed with Koh Gen Do’s Maifanshi Moisture Foundation. It’s from Japan (but you can find it at Sephora, USA) and is so smooth, it almost feels like moisturizer,” quoted Jessica Alba in her book ‘The Honest Life.’
Koh Gen Do was the brainchild of an actress who was concerned about her over-stressed skin. She wanted to rest and restore her own skin so she created a range that stimulated and supported the skin’s naturally restorative functions. She integrated this skincare range into a base makeup line, now cherished by actresses around the world.
Since then Koh Gen Do has featured in over 300 international movies from movies like Star Trek Into Darkness, Oz The Great & Powerful, Avengers, Valentine’s Day, Sex and the City 2, Avatar to stars like Jessica Alba, Johnny Depp, Michelle Williams, Miley Cyrus, Drew Barrymore.
Koh Gen Do promises to create products to inspire your journey as the leading actress in your own life, glowing with radiant beauty.
