Chili Egg Salad Sandwich : A Scoop of Spice for Breakfast
I may adore eggs but I am serious when I say that hard boiled eggs are my least fave.Le Mister loves a good egg sandwich, and so since I like mayonnaise I promised to do this uncomplicated filling for him.
So for my own egg salad sandwich,
I say NO to:
Celery
Relish
Mustard
Why?
Not that I am a naysayer of those 3 but they do eliminate the egg taste.
YES to:
Mayo
Eggs
Mayo
Eggs
I turned the fridge upside down for something I want to add just for kicks:
chili
croutons
cheese
The onion, salt and pepper trio is a must to complement the creaminess of the egg&mayo.
I tried mixing in the Casino Mayonnaise Dijon, has a teeny weeny bit taste of mustard and gave the salad a gentle twang.Have you seen my previous video on how to get great hard boiled eggs?Trust me, you need those! You will notice the difference.
In case you find that your salad mixture ain't creamy enough, in goes another dollop of mayo in your mixing bowl! You can always adjust the taste according to your preference. I incorporated chili, yes! The red ones. And I just like how it gave the entire salad a slight kick. Hit the spot just right. It won't burn your tongue promise. Unless you put a whole pack of chili pepper eh?!Put a scoop on your breakfast toast every morning (I say, toasted bread and sometimes wheat ones) are ze best.
An egg salad sandwich is always reliable.
My guts and my wooden spoon tell its own story.
They both have a quaint affair 91% of the time but you can expect a satisfying warm plate of climax in the slavery of its aftermath. My take? Make a dish with a heart.
