My sugaRfavey is one Paul & joe addictus I know, alongside with Pammy, and she was convincing me to try out the products even before. She handed me a generous sample of some products way back and I may say she was right that the brand is worth being addicted to. Anywhoo, Japanese brand cosmetics will always have a special place in my heart.
Or perhaps that's the reason when I was making a round at the beauty island of Isetann, I found myself having a good chat with the Beauty Attendant. Whatever it is, seeing the crescent moon shaped design of this product, sorry but I really dun dig the packaging that much, I was convinced to buy this item.
✿ Paul & Joe Face Color - #13 (4.5g/0.15oz: S$37/approx PHP1,250/ US$29) |
Okay so they call their blushes as Face Color number whatever.
I am a bronzer junkie eversince so am happy I got this.
It's housed in a semi-shiny creamy beige or (muted pink/peach?) plastic that is
carved in a vintage-inspired floral motif.
Very compact with that decent sized mirror so it's quite nice to whip it out in public.
Finely milled blush, err face color.
The left one clings on the rosey brown shade while the right is orangey brown.
They really do mix as a bronzer; like coffee and milk.
Shade isn't OTT when applied eventhough the texture is not really that buttery soft and highly pigmented.
It's actually comparable to the STILA line and besides I don't like bronzers which are overly pigmented.
I just don't like the uneven texture of the product, (see my index finger above) it seems a lil powdery to me or I'd say a lil bit gritty. Luckily, when applied to cheeks, it goes on satiny smooth. You're bailed out then P&J, haha.
Those tiny holes on the blush itself is starting to annoy me tho.. haha!
Have you tried any P&J products?
