RANDOM CHAT: DFS Galleria Singapore.

I've considered Orchard as a shopping oasis ever since I have discovered

DFS Galleria Singapore @ Scottswalk.

It's a duty free shopping mall nestled in the very heart of Orchard Road.

If you are a tourist, you can can enjoy tax-free shopping on posh brands like 

Prada, LV, Chanel, Cartier, and more. 

5-minute walk from the Orchard MRT station,

how devilish the location is right? haha.

I simply go to DFS for 2 reasons:

I can do luxury shopping without the crowds;

(minus the elbowing pa when it's sale periods*)

I can find items/ products....

fine...

makeup items!

which are mostly wiped off the shelves of every beauty counters in town.

They do reservations here and I love the service of the Galleria staff.

More personalized IMO. 

I was like escorted by almost 4 people one time and E

was teasing me the frikkin entire day lol.

I was buying a few items from the Marilyn Monroe Collection by MAC

and from the way they served me...

well, there was a much much more juicier story behind that*

it's as if I was buying a replica of  Marilyn Monroe herself.

They also have special programs in line every weekend..

last time I checked was the Guerlain & Giorgio Armani Maestro Launch;

You'll be up for a show wherein there are performers for shoppers to watch

and be more enticed to check out and buy the products.

from the theme to the whole layout of the set...aaaahhh

DFS Visual Merch team got fierce skills.

If you know the COD Christmas Shows in Cubao;

it reminds me of that childhood mem'ries...

well it may never be that grand,

but it's something that you can feast your eyes upon

with their playful colours, costumes, the props and the whatnot~

I wear flats when I go here...

well, their 15,000 sq.ft beauty hall -- (yes, only the beauty hall!)

is like a long stretch of makeup and skincare road to nirvana hahah.
