Punishing mornings are not without some sort of a karmic redemption which comes in the form of the sunrise at the Kiltepan Viewpoint.
Those clouds that blanket over the area seemed like cotton candies, too bad it was too foggy and misty, sun was too damn shy to reveal its rays that morning.
Folks go here to of course, witness the beautiful Sagada Sunrise. Our call time was 04ooH. Total darkness enveloped us all while finding our way to Kiltepan, into the woods this time, so much like Blair Witch Project. We did not bring a penlight cause we wanted to get the thrill of walking into the woods blinded by the darkness. Creepy!
Reaching the KV, you will not see anything but millions of stars and a sea of clouds covering the entire Sagada mountains. Amazing, knowing that you are high above the sea level and clouds are literally under your feet.
Such a lovely sight on a fresh and misty morning; with towering pine trees and green-layered rice terraces deep below the valley.
The Kiltepan viewpoint was a 30-minute drive down from Sagada town proper.

Seems like am in FORKS of the Twilight Saga :)
We may not have seen the sun obviously as it was also having a hard time showing itself against the thick blanket of the white mist. The mist is already a win for me, I almost felt like plunging into 'em..albeit the fluffy clouds won't even botha to catch me haha!
