I was following Chef Hasset Go's battle against the Big C.

Liver Cancer, that is.

From Chef Hasset Go's Instagram Account, I saw how he lived each day full of hopes and optimism.

Until I lost track, found out last 24th of October that the humble Chef died at an early age of 29.

It was only 3 years ago that I had attended & got the chance to personally meet him during the MEDCHEF's Anniversary event held at his shop located behind ABS-CBN. Chef Hasset Go is one of Manila's Best Pastry Chefs.

I had a short chitchat with him, I can say he's more than a humble lad, more than an inspiration to every aspiring entrepreneurs out there.

This guy was all steady.

He is undeniably cute tho I prefer that he wore his chef's hat that particular night; that he has specks of flour all over his face; breadcrumbs on his nose; icing or whipped cream smeared all over his fingers.

What can I say Chef Hasset.
