swapping a heavy cream moisturizer for a gel-cream type is a welcome CHANGE especially for someone like me who has combination skin.   

ORIGINS MAKE A DIFFERENCE™  NIGHT SKIN REJUVENATING GEL CREAM 's packaging is outdated I know, but hey looking at this beautiful emerald jar sitting on my vanity drawer decodes nothing but freshness.

A GEL-CREAM MOISTURIZER THAT COMBINES THE LIGHTWEIGHT TEXTURE AND SWIFT ABSORPTION OF A GEL WITH A LONGER-LASTING HYDRATION COMPARED TO YOUR TRADITIONAL CREAM. 

✍Thoughts

Having a weightless texture (hybrid of gel & cream!*), it's like splashing my face with cold water and my skin just tend to love it; residue? Nadah.

Product instructions as seen on the jar itself: "Apply nightly... follow with your moisturizer." So I've considered this as my serum substitute. 

Albeit a tad heavy, opening up the lid welcomes a light and fresh scent. With a beautiful formulation, this is something that you'd want to slather on to your face even before you get to kiss your morning coffee. For nights that I wanna skip on my usual serums or stress and late nights are taking a toll on my skin, I turn to this. 

At night,  I've even tried applying in a few layers and next morning I usually get a 'calmer' skin. No red blotches and it helped clearing even the minor bumps. There's certainly no irritations nor breakouts. Of course, the Evening Primrose Extract helps support the skin's natural self-repair process and minimize the advent of irritation. The hydration moves in full tilt its flaws barely register - again, the packaging. Dipping my fingers and let the product be exposed to air and light is a letdown.

However I don't see any issues even if I use this during daytime. Doesn't mess with make up as it sinks right into the skin without the greasy feel; in fact I think it even preps the skin for makeup application. Do note that it doesn't give me a mattified look. 

Overall, a product to love from Origins; the beautiful refreshing scent is something you'd look forward to every night.
