I'VE ALWAYS BELIEVED THAT HAVING GREEN FINGERS IS A TALENT. 

HAD A FEW CACTUS OVER THE PAST YEARS AND ALL OF THEM SAID ADIEU. I GUESS SINKING MY HANDS INTO THE WARM EARTH IS A FAR FETCHED DREAM. 

I was about to post a plant-bituary here but then I have a certain respect for my plants - cactus, to be exact so let them have the privacy they deserve. GROWING PLANTS OF ANY KIND IS LIKE ENTERING SOMEONE ELSE'S PRIVATE SPACE. 

I've lost count on how many cactus I had, not kidding that they all bid adieu. The longest I had was a year old, the closest to my heart - LOKI.

It was the spines that attracted me to get a cactus.  


Fine. 

I lied. 

T'was the pain behind the prick. 

One thing I've noticed is that whenever one dies on me, I always happen to stumble upon a flower shop that sells this type of plants. Ain't sure if it was plain coincidence or am just destined to get a new one. 


So I've spotted this shop last year at Tanjong Pagar Exchange, TERESA Florist & Gifts.

I'm not sponsored by them but I was smitten at the variety of plants they have here. 

Each type of plants they sell have a representative image don't you think so? The plain cactus are being sold for as low as 3  for $10.

Shop is complete with cards for sale to go along with your gift of course.

There's just too many to choose from! And yes, I bought one home  and named him  LoKi, Jr.

He's now 10 months old. Standing tall and handsome right? ツ
