Here goes my undying ♥ for neutrals again.. but this time I chose to make my own Neutral Gradient Eye of the Day *winks
What's a gradient btw? It's pretty much when you take multiple but similar eyeshadow colours that sort of "fade" them into each other starting with the lightest shade and ending with the darkest. Complicated as it may sound but it's just really easy.
✿ My Neutral Gradient calls for mainly 3 things , in short I thought of some ways to spice it up just a lil bit:
There is no complexity in contouring nor shading with what I did; just a very simple gradient EOTD. Darkest shade near the eyes and the shade gradually gets lighter as it goes up.
- Instead of a black liner, use a loud color of your choice - in which that is the first thing that people would notice when they look into your eyes. Yes you may sport the neutrals but once they see the color of your eyeliner, believe me they would always comment.
- Try doing the invisible outer V shading. We're so used to having our outer V darkened but with this I managed to make it almost invisible. But you can also opt to darken it, just make sure it blends still with the entire eye look.
- You know the point wherein your eyeball rests when you look straight into a mirror? Get your black liner and shade that part on your lower lash line. Blend it on top of your coloured liner of choice. This is a bit tricky but a friend actually told me it's nice. Another spot of interest there eh?ツ
Pretty sure every woman has their own shades of warmth to neutral tones in their makeup stash, so start doing your own gradient look. Link me back when you've done so, I wanna see your gradient eyes as well ladies ツ
